Why it has taken me so long to sift my way through mail, bills, DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHS, laundry, house-stuff, voicemails, I have no idea. But I’m getting there! (I’m hearing Dory from Finding Nemo singing in my head, “Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. Just keep swimming…”)

Here are a few images from one of the CUTE little models we had at Learnfest. This little thing wanted so badly to get in the fountain, so by all means, we let her. (No one is still certain what Mom thought about this idea, but we got some great images!)

I’m alive! Barely…

I’ve been MIA. I planned on being gone through last Tuesday, and I was. What I didn’t plan on was getting back, having my sweet girl throw up for two days, having a horrible allergic reaction to ??? and itching like mad from head to toe, having 2 Dr’s visits, having issues with the credit card company, and on and on! But, things are finally slowing down, I’m back working on client galleries and albums and finally starting to proof some of the images from my trip!
We started by heading up to Salt Lake City for a few days to see friends and family. I then flew to Atlanta for 4 mind-boggling days at Learnfest with four amazing instructors- Audrey Woulard, Tamara Lackey, Lena Hyde and Laura Novak. Too much information! Too little time and brain space! I learned so much there, and made some really wonderful new friends (and got to catch up with a few old ones!). From Atlanta, I flew to Durango, CO where my dear Mother picked me up. She and my Dad had been watching my two littles for me while JT came back to CA to work and I went to Georgia. I spent Easter weekend there with them, then last Monday, we drove back to (a TERRIBLY hot) California. It actually wasn’t hot last week- quite lovely actually, but 100 degrees today has me ready to head back to the mountains! Ah, well.

There are lots of things in store! I’ve got fresh ideas, new POLICIES to implement, and am excited about what the future holds. And slowly, I’ll start weeding my way through some of the great shots taken in the last few weeks and get them posted here. So, be patient, check in often, and be in touch!
